Dashboard

The dashboard is the main reporting surface in FlagHack Hub. It summarizes what a learner has done recently and turns course and lab activity into a small set of practical metrics: completion, score, and time spent.

What the dashboard shows

  • Activity over time.
  • Course completion as a completed versus uncompleted split.
  • Lab completion as a completed versus uncompleted split.
  • Course score as a percentage gauge.
  • Average time per lab and total lab time.

Organization-wide reporting

In an active organization, owners and admins can switch the dashboard to another member. The selector is populated from the organization member list, and the URL updates to include the selected user so the view can be linked or refreshed consistently.

Permission model

  • Regular learners can see their own statistics only.
  • Organization owners and admins can inspect other members from the same organization.
  • If a non-admin tries to open another user's dashboard directly, the client routes them back to their own dashboard.

How to get the most from it

  • Use course score to see whether knowledge checks are improving, not just whether content was opened.
  • Use lab time to spot learners who are active but may be stuck.
  • Combine the dashboard with assigned courses and labs inside teams or classrooms for lightweight reporting.
