Router
The router is the central node of the facility's local infrastructure. A successful connection gives the hacker remote reach to compatible powered devices on that network.
Connecting
- Stand next to the router and choose the Ethernet connection action.
- The router must have power, and physical access cannot be used while hidden.
- The cable connection is established immediately and remains your active network path until disconnected or interrupted.
Risks and outages
- Creating a physical link is suspicious and can be witnessed.
- Cutting power drops the active network connection and closes interactions that depend on it.
- The router does not replace Wi-Fi coverage; wireless access is provided by an access point.
