NVR
The network video recorder stores surveillance-camera footage. It is a data-storage target with two irreversible strategic choices: acquire the records or erase them.
Data actions
- Reach the powered NVR physically or through the network.
- Download data records the files as acquired and marks the device hacked.
- Erase data destroys the stored source and also marks the device hacked.
- A physical data action is suspicious.
Mission objective warning
- When the objective explicitly requires a download, only Download data completes it.
- Erasing the source before downloading prevents the required download and can make extraction impossible.
- Check the mission target wording before choosing the destructive action.
