Security camera
A powered security camera continuously sweeps a field of view. It can expose the hacker's last known position and send security to investigate.
Detection
- The camera rotates at roughly 32 degrees per second and normally watches a 48-degree cone up to about 5.5 map tiles.
- Walls and closed doors block its line of sight.
- It ignores a hidden hacker and a hacker wearing a disguise; an undisguised visible hacker can trigger an alarm.
- A detection reports the last seen position and sends security into an investigation period.
Disabling and restoring
- Hack the camera physically from an adjacent tile or remotely through the network.
- A successful hack disables its scanning and can complete a camera mission target.
- A physical hack is suspicious; remote access is safer when available.
- A disabled camera can be reactivated if it has power and you have valid access. A power outage also clears its active detection state.
